Lauren Marie Presley began singing at the age of five. Her Mother, Lana Presley says that Lauren Marie would even sing her answers when asked a question. Lana remembers that after putting Lauren Marie to bed at 8:00 pm, she would be singing when a second check was done. At the final bedroom check, Lana would find Lauren Marie humming before falling to sleep. “Lauren Marie always had singing in her heart. Singing was her passion and her release”, says Lana. Although Lana knew her daughter was talented from an early age, Lauren’s fourth grade music teacher confirmed her extraordinary gift. As a pre-teenager, Lauren participated in singing finals in Little Rock, Arkansas and was in the top 3 at her campus among 500 candidates who attended the chorus competitions.
